The Multinational America Ruling Class
It's Not Corporate America Anymore...
For the next several weeks, the Tuesday editions of StressFreeBill’s Substack blog will be dedicated to identifying and describing the disparate factions of the new Ruling Class who have taken the reins of power in our society. Today’s issue will cover the Multinational America Ruling Class. Previous newsletters discussed The Ruling Class Media, The Ruling Class Intelligentsia, The Ruling Class Bureaucracy, Ruling Class Judiciary, and The Ruling Class (in general).
General Electric, Disney, and General Motors, along with thousands of other companies, used to be referred to as Corporate America. These were American companies that marketed primarily to Americans and had a vested interest in our uniquely American culture. The ethic of hard work and the Rule of Law was important to them. Being patriotic came naturally and the first and second-generation immigrants who filled out their workforces had jumped through hoops to get to the land of opportunity and appreciated their chance at the American Dream.
Today, nothing could be further from the truth. Over the last few decades, almost all of these stalwart American companies have either been bought or controlled by multinational companies or have become multinationals themselves. What is in the best interests of the company and shareholders no longer always aligns with what is best for America. The C Suites and workforces are staffed with indoctrinated graduates of our Ruling Class Intelligentsia run universities and H-1B visa holders (foreign workers). The laws of our country, instead of being appreciated for providing a stable playing field to build profit, are now perceived as obstacles to companies wishing to navigate goods across borders that divide differing tariffs, taxes, and regulations. Patriotism has become an anchor in the heedless quest for cheap labor and our great work ethic has been devalued in comparison to the unsafe working conditions (and in some cases, slave labor) that can be accessed in other countries. Corporate America has become Multinational America.

These are companies who take advantage of, yet perceive they have outgrown, the economic stability advantages provided by the United States and seek unfettered access to world markets. Their plan to achieve this is by pushing an authoritarian ideology of Globalism. These companies believe they should be sovereign unto themselves.
It has been famously said that the business of America is business. To fully understand the dynamics at play in American politics, we need to understand that a corporation has no soul, only shareholders… and a company’s goal is to create profit for those shareholders. This is neither good nor evil. Free enterprise is a vehicle that has lifted vast multitudes out of poverty and created economic freedom for billions, but it is not a moral system, only an economic one. Traditionally, companies don’t follow the law out of morality, they follow the law because it is economically less risky to do so.
Inevitably, a company will follow the path of least resistance to earn its profits. This is why American companies have a long tradition of donating to both political parties. Even as they donate heaviest to the side currently in power, they have known that both parties are moving the country ever closer to that borderless vision of Globalism that will supercharge their bottom line. That is until Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.
President Trump halted and attempted to reverse the country’s slide into Globalism. Shipping our manufacturing overseas, massively importing cheap labor to replace American jobs (via H-1B visas and open borders), and allowing huge trade deficits all benefitted the multinational corporations but devastated the American economy and her people.
The populist Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement is antithetical to the Globalist goals of Big Business.
The leadership of BOTH the Democrat and Republican parties are heavily reliant on the donations, support, connections, and sinecures of Multinational America and cannot abide a reversal of this march towards Globalism.
This is why we have seen both Democrat and Republican leadership rise up with seemingly inexplicable anger against an agenda that is so obviously pro-American.
The MAGA threat is so great to Multinational America’s globalist ambitions that these corporations have in many cases crossed the line from political agnosticism into overt censorship, cancellation, and propaganda. Their open support of controversial groups and issues such as BLM, CRT, and LGTBQ+ are not being initiated out of deeply held moral beliefs, but as weapons to be used to break down traditional American culture and undermine the MAGA opposition. The promised profits and control of Globalism are so massive that even as ratings plummet, brand names are tarnished, and tax advantages are lost, they are willing to sacrifice in the short run for the promise of that future.
It is important to note that even as the culture of a company can become ideological, that in and of itself is not sufficient to dictate a company’s strategy to acquire profit. The masses can be fooled, but somebody has to do the fooling. Corporate culture can be molded, but somebody has to do the molding. The atypical and anti-American moves we see being initiated by Multinational America are not organic; they are the weaponized moves being directed by the CEOs, Board Members, and billionaire oligarchs who control them. These are the people who have declared war on America.
