Culture is a tricky thing. Here’s a riddle for you: ‘Is culture more about what your values actually are, or about what you want them to be, or about what you want other people to think they are?’ Think about that one overnight and get back to me…
The microculture of the group I hang out with shuns TV. We all know it’s a colossal waste of time, geared to an eighth-grade audience, and reflective more of ‘woke’ propaganda rather than real life. So, we don’t watch any of it – except, of course, for sports. Well, sports and news… and there are a few shows every once in a while, that stand out. So, whenever anyone I know talks about something they’ve seen on TV the conversation always begins with some variation of, “I don’t watch much TV, but…”
One reason I don’t watch much TV is I just don’t have that much time – I’m a busy guy. If I do accidentally sit myself down in front of the TV, it might not be long before I’m up running to do something I just remembered needed doing. So, even though I don’t watch much TV, I had a scathingly brilliant idea somewhere around the 32nd episode in season three of a show I was binging on… it was inspired by a character that was introduced who suffered from Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy.
Munchausen by Proxy is a terrible disease. This is where the need for adulation and sympathy is so strong that it leads otherwise normal people to do terrible things. For example, a mother who continually poisons her daughter and ‘sacrifices’ her career to stay home and take care of her. A terrible thing, yet so very, very hard to catch. When it is exposed, no one – not the husband, the grandparents, or closest friends – can believe the loving dedicated mom who has sacrificed everything is really the culprit. We’ve been blinded by her apparent compassion.
In some respects, I think we look at our country the same way. We see the rot and the disease. We look at gas prices and inflation with disbelief as we try to rationalize our President telling us there is nothing to be done about it. We watch in terror as that same man who is sworn to defend our country announces the discontinuation of Title 42… called the Remain in Mexico policy, it has been the only thing holding back an invasion by millions of illegal aliens. We desperately parse his words and try and follow the talking heads on TV as they explain to us that this is really a ‘return to normal.’ We try and tell ourselves that allowing our governors and national health experts to shut down our economy and stunt our children’s social maturity really was necessary and we scratch our heads at Republicans who stand in the way and obstruct investigations into what sure looks like systemic election fraud…
We see all of this disease and corruption yet can’t bring ourselves to believe that the very people entrusted with the health of our country might be poisoning her on purpose.
I had an epiphany seven or eight years ago. I was doing a lot of research for a different book altogether (I’m an author) and I started noticing things that didn’t make any sense – a LOT of things… so, I started keeping track. Over the next couple of years, I realized America was being sabotaged. It wasn’t just incompetence; it was purposeful. It also wasn’t just Democrats - a lot of Republicans were saying the right things while clandestinely doing the wrong things. And, it wasn’t just politicians. It was Captains of Industry, talking heads on TV, University professors, and government bureaucrats – a whole new culture had sprung up of people surreptitiously trying to bring down the United States of America! It was almost as if our Ruling Class elite had all simultaneously come down with a fatal case of Munchausen and our country was the proxy victim.
Now, no analogy is perfect - with Munchausen, the mothers are destroying the health of their children for some sick kind of virtue signaling – they are saying to the world, “See how good a person I am! See how much I care!” Rush Limbaugh used to call this ‘Symbolism over substance’ and, politically speaking, you see a lot of it on the left. But it didn’t account for everyone and everything I was observing. Most of the brainwashed virtue-signalers are harmless. I mean, they have a vote and a voice so in that sense we should take them seriously, but the guy screaming we should open our borders because we have no right to keep our prosperity to ourselves, even though opening our borders would destroy that prosperity for everyone, is braindead. As a famous comedian once said, “You can’t fix stupid.”
No, what was scaring me was seeing all these idiots being rounded up and put to work in a coordinated fashion. Someone was bankrolling them and pulling their strings. I eventually figured out who it was but, what to do about it? I mean, to suggest there might be a group hiding in the shadows and plotting to take over the world sounds kind of… conspiratorial, right? As a matter of fact, the conclusions I was drawing were so against the mainstream narrative (and the implications so scary) I had to double and triple-check myself… but, as the months went by and my ongoing observations only continued confirming my conclusions, I became more and more uncomfortable. I had to know if other people were seeing the same thing… but, just talking to friends and associates wouldn’t be objective enough. So, I wrote a book. I figured that once I got beyond my circle of friends, book sales would be a good barometer of whether my reasoning would be looked at as sound or crazy.
The book became a bestseller. As a matter of fact, it went to #1 on Amazon in its political category and led to a political movement. On the one hand, this was gratifying. On the other, it was downright scary – for both the future of my country and my personal exposure. But, once you ‘lift the veil’ on the power structures behind our politics there is no going back – you cannot unsee it…
This is a newsletter – not a book. So, I’m going to skip over all the detail of my methodology, research, sources, and evidence and go straight to the conclusion. Over the next few weeks and months, I may let some of that drop here, but if you are really interested I suggest you buy the book – it will contain all the validation you need and will help convince my accountant I’m not wasting my time with this newsletter.
So, here’s the deal…
As crazy as it sounds, there really are a number of different diverse groups, based primarily in the United States and the European Union, who see themselves as the elite of mankind and above national laws. They believe themselves intellectually elite and therefore the caretakers of mankind’s destiny. Pesky national laws (and Constitutions), the ‘will of the people,’ and nation-states themselves only get in the way of their vision and goals. Patriotism is a quaint affectation of the unwashed masses and beneath them. The best way to understand these dramatically diverse groups is to think of them as separate crime families making up a huge international crime syndicate. Even though many of these ‘families’ might hate each other they will not hesitate to ally themselves out of mutual interest – and one such mutual interest is their war against Nationalism (and, particularly, the United States). The insane push toward a communistic authoritarian type of Globalism is an example of such an alliance.
Complicating matters further is that in most cases, only the very tops of these crime families are diabolical. 99% of these ‘families’ are unknowing foot soldiers who have been manipulated, extorted, bribed, bullied, pressured, or indoctrinated to do the family’s bidding. It is also important to understand that the ‘families’ have an untraditional structure – the unifying force holding the family together is not a hierarchy, it is a culture. For the next number of Tuesdays StressFreeBill’s Newsletter will highlight one of these crime family cultures – today, we will look at our Ruling Class Media. It will become obvious there is no secret handshake amongst journalists to plot against America’s interests – they are just immersed in an insanely manipulated journalistic microculture. When we take all of the crime family microcultures and speak of them collectively we refer to them as the Ruling Class.
Ok, those last two paragraphs were a mouthful but are an accurate description of what we’re up against. So, what it boils down to is a group of egotistical tyrants who want to rule the world and the United States is in the way (and must be removed). And yes, they really are out to destroy us.

The Ruling Class Media
Many people refer to them as the mainstream media, others call them the corporate media or the multinational media...
We should all start calling them the Ruling Class Media.
Ruling Class Media noun / ruː.lɪŋ ˈklæs ˈmid·i·ə/
Media personnel that arrogantly believe ‘the masses’ have ‘no clue’ and it is for our own good that they manipulate us. Their arrogant assumption of intellectual superiority gives them license to eschew traditional journalistic standards. They place their own chase for clicks and ratings ahead of the country and laugh at those that naively think this to be morally wrong.
Rank and File: There are (at least) two dynamics at play when it comes to understanding today's Ruling Class Media. First, the rank and file have been indoctrinated by the Ruling Class Intelligentsia. Many in this generation of journalists aren't bad people, they just literally don't know any better.
Like attracts like and for decades now we have allowed our best universities to be bastions of the left. No longer institutions where all ideologies are represented, they are churning out generation after generation of graduates that do not believe in Capitalism, competition, self-reliance, or personal responsibility. With a skewed understanding of history, many are taught that America is no better than any other country and we have no right to exert our will on others (to lead). They're taught that to believe in the goodness of America is morally hypocritical. Concepts of good and evil become relative under this worldview and to hold out America's history of freedom and achievement as a force for good is considered laughably naive.
If the faculty of Ivy League Universities are heavily populated by the left, their colleges of journalism are even more so. Both before and after graduation these individuals are immersed in groupthink. Most of them are indoctrinated into empty vessels waiting for editors to tell them what to think and honestly believe critical thinking means having mean thoughts.
Leadership: The second dynamic addresses ownership and control. Our Constitution gives special privileges to The Press (media) because it was believed a free press would always be independent and uncontrollable - but, what if that were no longer true? Consider this:
NBC, CNBC, & MSNBC are owned by Comcast, which is controlled by Brian Roberts
ABC & FOX are owned by Disney which is controlled by Laurence Powell Jobs (Steve Jobs's widow)
Fox News is owned and controlled by the Murdoch family
CBS is owned by National Amusements and controlled by the Redstone family
The New York Times is owned and controlled by the Sulzberger family
The Washington Post is owned and controlled by Jeff Bezos
Facebook is owned and controlled by Mark Zuckerberg
Twitter is owned and controlled by Jack Dorsey
Google is owned by Alphabet Inc. controlled by Sergey Brin and Larry Page
These nine multinational entities arguably control over 99% of the nation’s news and communications. Their best self-interest is global, not national.
But, I’m sure that the handful of families controlling these immensely powerful organizations wouldn’t put their own self-interest ahead of our country… would they?
